As mentioned in my original Pyjama Edit post, to me pyjamas are very much lingerie, at least as much as my favourite bra and briefs set, and they do set the tone for any night time routine; cosy, brushed cottons or luxurious satins and silks — or something on the sheerer side for when I don’t feel sleepy at all. Equally, they are the garments I wake up in (most mornings), and potentially spend the first few hours of the day in.
To me, nothing emphasises a lazy Sunday morning as a cup of coffee and a slow breakfast in my pyjamas do — which is probably the reason why I was so drawn to the Camille Short Pyjama Set in the first place. I remember, at the time I wasn’t even looking for any sort of lingerie. I stumbled across the Bluebella ad on Instagram, and this pyjama set simply drew my eye. It looked so elegant and luxurious, and perfect for a slow morning.

The Camille Short Pyjama Set in white consists of a short sleeved button-up shirt and a pair of shorts with an abstract black floral print on white polyester satin. The satin is opaque and fairly heavy, which gives this two-piece an over all luxurious feel, and it flows beautifully around the body.
The top is a short sleeved, collared button-up with a small breast pocket, white fabric-covered buttons, and a black satin trim.
The shorts have an elasticated waist and a slightly A-line shape.
I do have a thing for a classic cut, fabric buttons, and contrasting trim; they make a garment look endlessly chic and elegant in my opinion, which is exactly how I want to feel in my pyjamas.
I could happily spend all morning lazing around in this particular set, and it has fast become a staple in my suitcase. What do you like to wear on a lazy Sunday morning?
