What’s New in my Lingerie Drawer – February.

Black & Blue, and a little Red.

Well, first of all, my “lingerie drawer” has migrated into my hanging wardrobe. I had my bras neatly stacked in a drawer before, but that drawer has become too small, and having them hung up makes it so much easier to browse and select.

So what’s making the old drawer overflow then?

1 Black & Lace Flower Bra / H&M, £24.99

I very rarely buy lingerie from H&M these days; or rather I send most of it back. H&M’s sizing inconsistencies are driving me up the wall, and often the quality just isn’t there for me. This one, however, is nice enough. It is actually the size that’s printed on the label, and the flower pattern is just too pretty. There was also a longline bra in the knickers photo, but sadly I never saw that one listed as an actual product on the UK site; maybe I just missed it though.

2 Blue Daan Longline Bra / Hunkemöller, £45.00

The newest addition to Hunkemöller’s Noir Collection, and OMG that cornflower blue is just gorgeous! I treated myself to this beauty as soon as the collection launched, and I am wearing it right now. The band is a little tight, I wish I had sized up by one, but other than that it is simply stunning. I am waiting for the matching thongs to be delivered as I write this.

3 Black Celeste Bra / Bluebella, £18.00 + tax (sale)

If I had seen this one before the H&M bra listed above, I would have only bought this one. Alas, now I have them both. The original RRP was £36.00 + tax, and boy do these £15 make a difference! The fit is a lot better, the sizing is true to size, and the pattern is almost identical. So if you can afford only one new bra this month, rather go for this one, especially with the sale on, there are still plenty of sizes, and the matching thongs, available!

4 Black & Nude Pleated Bra / TU clothing, £17.00

If you are surprised to see a supermarket brand listed here, don’t be. I mean, haven’t we all bought loungewear from the supermarket during the pandemic? And TU’s Boudoir Collection really falls into the category affordable luxury. In fact, this is my second lingerie set from the collection; and out of the entire list posted here, this is probably my 2nd favourite bra, after the Daan! This bra comes with a racerback, which gives the bust an lovely shape. And the matching knickers have a lovely vintage feel. Definitely recommend! Review to come.

5 Red Lace Blindfold / Hunkemöller, £17.00

This is my first and only piece from Hunkemöller’s Private Collection. In all honesty I never thought I’d purchase from the Private Collection, and this was originally bought for a blog post, though that hasn’t been written so far. Needless to say, I haven’t used this yet, and I’m not sure I ever will. But the quality is gorgeous, as is with everything from Hunkemöller, and it comes in a cute little box.

6 Black & Gold Lace Detail Suspender Belt / TU Clothing, £9.00

As mentioned above, I own another lingerie set from TU’s Boudoir Collection, and this is the matching suspender belt. When I originally bought the set in the supermarket, they didn’t have any belts. I discovered this later, online, and simply had to complete the set; especially as all the pieces were so affordable. The lace and gold detailing is beautiful, and the floral design is just as exquisite as the ones from Bluebella and H&M.

And there we have it. I may have been a little spendy this month, but I have no regrets. Do you have anything new in your lingerie drawer that I should know about? Leave a comment below!
